Our FYRECAST 1400 Refractory Cement is a high-performance, dry-mix castable cement engineered to handle temperatures up to 1400°C, making it the ideal solution for demanding applications such as pizza ovens, fireplaces, forges, ovens, kilns, and custom castings. This product chemically sets and cures without the need for heat, providing brick-like hardness and long-lasting durability. Just add water.

Instructions for Use

1. Prepare your mixing container
2. Add water approx. 1L for every 10kg
3. Mix thoroughly using a shovel or mixing paddle drill attachment to eliminate dry spots
4. Apply and shape as needed when patching
5. Vibrate the form / mould when casting to remove all air bubbles
6. Allow to dry undisturbed for 24 hours

Instructions for Casting a Slab with FYRECAST 1400

• When casting on top of a solid base such as concrete or brickwork, the minimum thickness should be 25 mm, although 50 mm is recommended for added strength and thermal mass.
• If the slab will be unsupported (i.e. spanning a gap or forming a suspended section), it must be at least 50 mm thick, and stainless steel fibres must be added to the mix to improve structural integrity.
